Natural ways to get to sleep?

You didn’t specify when you WANT to sleep. So not sure if the 6am to 5 pm is near normal for you or not. If you’re wanting to get back to normal hours of sleeping thru night, you’ve really gotten your sleep rhythm out of whack badly. Been clubbing too much thru holidays??

Melatonin is a good aid to help you sleep, proven quite well. My best friend always uses it. One of ways to get to sleep is to try and calm yourself down. So try by not watching tv, loud music, caffeinated drinks, or even vitamins (which can increase your energy, thereby making you not want to sleep). Things like warm/hot tea can also help soothe you down so that you’re more relaxed, able to want to sleep.

I’ve also found Siberian Ginseng helpful for me. Siberian is different because it works both ways. If you’re up, it’ll help get you down; if you’re down, it’ll help to get you up. When I take it at bedtime, I find that I sleep easier, more comfortably, and wake up so much more casually. It doesn’t put me to sleep, but helps my body to relax more so that it sleeps easier thru the night.

But the more important part is to change your sleep pattern, if you’re wanting night time sleep. YOu just have to change what you do, so that you get tired in early evening, then your body will adapt to sleeping at night again. If you’re up thru the night during holidays, then you’re sleeping at 6 am because you’re getting exhausted. So you’ve just got to try to sleep at a more normal time—-unless you need to sleep the odd hours you’ve mentioned. Sleeping thru daytime is so hard; I tried it decades ago when I was younger, and it’s really tough to recondition yourself to sleep daytime. Many a postal worker and factory worker have wanted to be able to, and usually spend their days off catching up on sleep during night hours, because they can’t get good enough sleep durng daytime.
